Design with cost insights and risk mitigation.

From client inspiration or brief, we offer a full product design service including concept, renderings, detailed technical design, packaging design and cost analysis (Bill of Materials or BOM).

Our experience has shown that a thorough and independent design at the outset is invaluable in de-risking quality, performance and understanding costs. Owning the detailed technical design is the best method to understand quality and cost issues as they arise, make design choices or to interpret competitive quotes from other factories.

Closed-Loop Quality Control.

Issues during sample development determine a customised production checklist for each item. A Corrective Action Plan (CAP) is also initiated during sample development and follows the product during it's life cycle. New orders are flagged for open CAP issues which become a pre-requisite for factory resolution and are highlighted for our QC staff. Relevant order details, such as test reports, assembly instructions, spec sheets and approved carton layouts also tagged to the QC checklists and are available to QC staff during an inspection.

The type of inspection for each item on the QC checklist , either 100% or an AQL based sample check, is determined by the risk profile of each product.

QC progress, Checklists, Corrective Action Plans and Inspection Reports are available to customers through our cloud based interfaces.

Guidance and Experience to get it right ... and remember.

Translating a new design and finish into a product that looks great and meets all specifications, testing and compliance requirements, plus is low risk for the factory, retailer and final customer, requires guidance and experience. This is our sample development and validation service. It is our job to independently control and check the development and build process and validate every component, interface and process against all of these requirements. Third party testing is managed by us where needed.

All the outcomes of this process form the backbone of our Quality Control later on to ensure that production orders are consistently in-line with the agreed and signed-off final samples.

We work exlusively on behalf of our customers and receive no commission, payments, or incentives from any factory.
